Crash - One of the movies that stayed in my mind for long in the recent past. There are a whole lot of characters in the movie, the screenplay is so shuffled that makes it difficult for me to write about the story line. To name a few characters - a patrol cop, a successful director, a lock smith, a rich house wife, a detective, a persian immigrant, a cute little girl... the list goes on..... The characters I mentioned are the ones that stayed in my mind after I came out of the cinema hall. Every character I mentioned above meets atleast two other characters and the film is a bundle of instances in the days life of the above mentioned characters. The director takes care of relating these instances. The first hour of the movie comprises of pieces of video describing the characters and their behaviour making me feel what Haggis (the director) is upto. But the second half explains it all very beautifully.
Racism - thats an interesting subject, that has been dealt without any reservation.
The movie pleased me.
